IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING

Please follow the steps below. It will ensure a smooth registration and guarantee that each athlete has a smooth tryout session. Please allow for the registration process to take up to 30 minutes to complete all the steps.

1.  CLICK AN AGE GROUP BUTTON BELOW TO REGISTER

You will need to Create an Account or Sign in to SportsEngine to register. The primary account holder of the SportsEngine account MUST be a parent.  Each child in the parent's household registering for a SportsEngine program will need a unique sub-profile housed in the parent's primary account. Under no circumstances should an athlete register themselves for the tryout using their own SportsEngine account. When creating the profile it is imperative the primary user information is that of a parent/legal guardian at least 18 years of age. Please click here for more information.

1a. If you have already set up a SportsEngine account, and it was set up incorrectly, or you need to make changes, please click here to learn how to do so.

1b. If you need more advanced help from SportsEngine, please click the "Need Help?" button on the right side of the screen to contact SportsEngine support.

1c. If you still need help, please contact us at contact@alevelathletics.com.

2.  RENEW OR PURCHASE A USAV MEMBERSHIP FOR EACH ATHLETE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD

We recommend all high school age groups to renew to a full membership if you know you will be playing a full club season.

RETENTION OFFERS

Each Season we offer our previous A-Level athletes Retention Offers. There are open positions on every team.

What is a Retention Offer? The Badger Region established a window of time where players who currently play for a club can be offered a spot in that club for next season.

WHAT AGE GROUP IS YOUR ATHLETE?

We strongly encourage all athletes to play in their graduating class for recruiting purposes. Click to view age chart

TRYOUTS F.A.Q

Q: My child wants to try out for more than one age group, do I have to pay twice or register more than once?
A: Register and pay once, however make sure you tell the check-in team what your intentions are so they are able to make a note on the evaluation sheet.

Q: Can my child “play up” in age group?
A: Yes, we will allow players to play up in an age group, especially if they are trying to play with their school age, i.e. a Sophomore who has a late birthday and is technically 15U but wants to play 16U.

Q: I can’t make it to your tryout date, will you have any more tryouts?
A: We will have supplemental tryouts dates if needed, however there is no guarantee that positions will be available after the tryout for each age group.

Q: Will you make offers at tryouts?
A: Yes, our coaches will make offers in writing at tryouts, and these offers are valid during the open tryout period, meaning we cannot offer another player your spot until you have given us a “yes” or “no” to the offer.

Q: If I don’t receive an offer at tryouts, does that mean I didn’t make it?
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT!  It can take us several days to evaluate all of the players and get offers out, so please be patient with us. In some instances we will have offers out and have to wait to hear back from a player before offering that spot to someone else.

Q: Will I be notified if I DON’T make a team?
A: Yes. It can take 4-5 days to work through our list of prospective players so please be patient. We will keep our website updated as teams are filled and if we will hold additional supplemental tryouts.

Q: What time should I arrive before tryouts and what should I bring with me?
A: Because of the number of players who are trying out, it’s recommended to be at tryouts 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Players can get ready, stretch, warm-up, etc. while their parents check them in with our team.  A water bottle is highly recommended. To speed up check-in, please make sure you bring:

  • Copy of your Badger Region membership card
  • A completed USAV Medical Release Form (PDF)
